TAFISA’s resolutions document the will and readiness of its General Assembly to take special responsibility in selected areas of Sport for All. They also reflect TAFISA’s worldwide political leadership in areas of high priority for the development of Sport for All. Thus, the resolutions are the political basis for various TAFISA’s strategies equally for the benefit of its members as well as for Sport for All in general.

For the practical pursuit of the resolutions TAFISA has established partnerships and is open for new alliances and partners from all relevant sectors. So far TAFISA has adopted:

  1. TAFISA Volunteerism Charter, Warsaw, 2005
  2. Resolution on Physical Activity, Sport for All and Health, Warsaw 2005
  3. Resolution on Facilities and Public Space for Sport and Physical Activity, Warsaw, 2005
  4. Declaration on Peace and Development, Busan, 2009

Moreover, in partnership with UNESCO, TAFISA has established the:

  1. TAFISA / UNESCO Busan Appeal on the Promotion and Preservation of Traditional Sports and Games)

Since then the statutes have been changed by the Assembly in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2007 and 2009. During the TAFISA General Assembly in Enschede, October 25, 2013, a revision of statutes was again approved by TAFISA Members. Please access the new TAFISA statutes via the link below.
