TAFISA is proud to be part of the team involved in the Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport 2 (FAIR) project, which tackles the challenge of doping among non-élite sportspeople, as evidence shows that the problem is growing and becoming a public health issue.

FAIR KickOff
The team behind the project at the FAIR kick-off meeting in Brussels, Belgium, in January 2017

This European initiative is led by EuropeActive and co-funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission. As stated on the official website, "this 3-year project will review the existing interventions on doping in recreational sport and food/supplements for sportspeople; and will raise awareness of doping issues among stakeholders. Moreover, it represents a first opportunity to develop a Europe-wide network to assess good practices and develop new methods. This network can provide a basis for both future policy development and a long-term common approach in the prevention of doping in recreational sport."
